Healing Place Courtyard (2001) is a public art piece by American artist Thomas Sayre. Healing Place Courtyard on the Healing Transitions campus provides both an outdoor gathering place and a private oasis. A reflective pool and circuitous path lead towards an open doorway sculpture to the east. The design provides a metaphor for the healing path offered to homeless and underserved individuals at the Raleigh, North Carolina campus who are seeking to find their way back from the stronghold of addiction.
