Furrow (2007) is a sculpture by American artist Thomas Sayre. Visible from the light rail line south of uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, FURROW’s six monumental earthcast disks dance by the passenger, three on either side of the tracks. Inspired by the harrow disks used for centuries to cultivate farmland, the forms pay tribute to the location’s agricultural past.
